Special times have come to Destiny: The probably rarest ship can now be purchased!
For many Guardians in Destiny, collecting items holds a high value. No wonder there are repeated calls for larger vaults. While Bungie addresses the overflowing vaults with the kiosks, some players can never have enough space for their treasures.
Yesterday, Reddit user noz3r0 spoke up: He asks whether he has now won the game. Because he was able to complete the collections in the kiosks, as he proves in an Imgur gallery. Even Bungie took notice and tweeted about this achievement:
The last item that the user was missing was a ship called CX20 Lone Wolf. This is occasionally sold by Shipwright Amanda Holliday – although in this case, the “occasionally” took quite a while.
Guardians waited over 600 days for the ship
Reddit user BlazeBoss17 calculated and found out that CX20 Lone Wolf has not been available for exactly 604 days. The last time Amanda offered it was on June 30, 2015 – two months before kiosks were even introduced. If you have been there since Vanilla Destiny, you could also buy it on October 1, 2014. Now it is for sale for the third time in Destiny’s history.
In recent months, players have often complained about this rare ship. It is the last ship missing from their collection. Posts like “The ship hasn’t been sold for 444 days”, “for 503 days”, or “for 560 days” can be found. In response to the “560 days” complaint, Community Manager Cozmo stated that Bungie had investigated and everything is going correctly. It’s just very rare.
Amanda Holliday now liberates numerous collectors. She has the ship in inventory for almost two more days. It costs 7520 Glimmer. But that’s no price for such a rarity…
Are you going to grab it?
