In Destiny, there are new updates on “Age of Triumph”. The inventory of the vendors rotates on a weekly basis.
In “This Week at Bungie”, DeeJ talks about the end of an era and the beginning of a celebration. The era refers to Destiny 1, which is set to receive its last content update next Tuesday. And the celebration begins with “Age of Triumph”, the Age of Triumph where you should properly celebrate your legends. For this, Bungie is bringing back the old raids and providing new and revamped Exotics and flashy gear.
- Age of Triumph starts on March 28 at 7 PM. So not at the weekly reset, but in the evening.
New Offers from the Vendors, New Quest for Necrochasm
Bungie did not talk about the offers from the vendors during the livestreams. They are now following up with a letter to the community.
The Legendary Marks are supposed to have value again. Therefore, the weapons and armor pieces from the following vendors will receive new perks every week, the offerings will rotate:
- Zavala, Cayde, Ikora
- Vanguard Quartermaster
- Lord Shaxx
- Crucible Quartermaster
- Dead Orbit
- Future War Cult
- New Monarchy
- The Speaker, Variks, and Shiro will continue to have a weekly refresh as before.
It is also officially confirmed, what has already been circulating on Reddit since yesterday: The automatic rifle Necrochasm can be obtained in Age of Triumph with a new quest. What this looks like is still unknown.
Furthermore, Bungie provides more information about Age of Triumph:
- The weapons and armor pieces from King’s Fall on normal difficulty will not be available through the 390 version of the raid. The non-tortured items can still be obtained from the original source.
- Ornament Tokens and Master Exotics (Adept) will be obtained through the Challenges of the weekly featured raids.
- On March 28, the Nightfall strike and the heroic strikes will not be available until the evening, until the launch of AoT. However, the weekly Crucible playlist cannot be turned off, yet you should not play this before AoT, so you don’t miss the Treasure of Ages – the new reward.
- With Age of Triumph comes update 2.6.0, which aims to fix some issues, such as problems with the SIVA key fragments, the skeleton keys, and the super attacks.
In the end, DeeJ addresses all readers who had been expecting something different from “This Week at Bungie”. He writes: “One milestone after another, Guardians!” This refers to the “Destiny 2” leak that surfaced yesterday. Many Guardians hoped that Bungie would officially comment on it.
