Destiny: May Iron Banner is unexpectedly active

With the hotfix for Destiny, the Iron Banner is surprisingly active.

This came unexpectedly, last week Bungie cancelled Osiris and the Iron Banner, fearing a ammo glitch could ruin the fun, turning the gameplay into unfairness. Today at 7 PM the glitch was fixed and Guardians are reporting: Lord Saladin is here! The Iron Banner has started spontaneously.

The mode switches, according to first reports, between Control, Conflict, and Rift. So everything is included, some report. According to Bungie, however, only “Control” should be active.

The May Iron Banner runs until Tuesday, May 31, at 11:00 AM. It should be over by the weekly reset.

The rewards after the match in the May Iron Banner are:

• Gloves and PlayStation-exclusive gloves
• Chest pieces and handguns
• Fusion rifles

These items can be obtained regardless of your rank, starting from rank 0, after a match.
