Pain of Drystan – Auto Rifle
The Pain of Drystan is an auto rifle that deals arc damage in the master version – the adept version. It belongs to the archetype with the highest impact and the lowest fire rate. Stability is above average, but range, magazine size, reload speed, and aim assist are poor. Here are the stats:
In terms of perks, the legendary variants have a random perk. We will list the fixed perks of the adept version:
- Will of Light: Bonus damage against the Taken
- Crowd Control: Kills with this weapon grant temporary bonus damage (This perk is random in the standard version)
- Cocoon: When the weapon is stowed, it automatically reloads from reserves
Choice between:
- Refined Frame: Increased stability, reduced magazine size
- Adjusted Stock: Increased weapon stability
- Lightweight: +2 character agility
Additionally, there is Field Choke, Improved Ballistics, and Linear Compensator.
With the latest update, auto rifles were slightly buffed. However, the Pain of Drystan is considered not a good auto rifle. You can pull it out against the Taken, especially when arc damage is active. The best use for it is to use it to raise a better primary weapon to a higher light level.
