For the MMO shooter Destiny, spectacular player actions appear in videos every week. This week, a Crucible round is particularly noteworthy.
Destiny is still being played by a lot of players even in this drought period. Even though nothing new has come in a long time, the community around the game is strong, and the interest is high. We live in Internet 3.0 (or maybe 4.0 or 5.0, who knows?): Everyone is an artist. Everyone can express their passion creatively. And the medium of the time is the internet clip, the homemade video. For many, it’s just a hobby, but some want to make a name for themselves with Destiny content on YouTube, perhaps turning their hobby into a profession. And success has proven some right.
At Bungie, they support so much fan engagement and highlight a video from the community as the “Movie of the Week” every week in the Weekly Update. This week, for example, this fan trailer for the upcoming DLC “House of Wolves” has been crowned Video of the Week:
Well done for sure. With a little luck, we might see the official Bungie trailer for House of Wolves on Thursday. Well, probably not, but one can still hope.

Anyway: We at mein MMO prefer another video that we saw this week. It is not edited, there is little done to it. It is simply an awesome Crucible round.
