In general, the mood is: Come on, let’s throw everything out one last time.
In the Nightfall strike, the “Rainbow Mode” should return, where all elemental damage hits significantly harder than usual. A highlight from earlier times.
The “Daybreak Strikes” are to come every four weeks in Nightfall. Guardians will enter Superman mode and really clean up: Super and other cooldowns are reduced. They have even announced a 6-week period for the summer when “Daybreak” will always be active.
Regarding rewards, Bungie intends to be “damn generous.” There will be 3 “treasure chests” every week for the guardians that they would otherwise have to buy at a high price
It even seems possible that Bungie will bring back the old primary weapons with elemental damage. This had actually been ruled out in September 2015, but now it seems quite conceivable. We will find out on Wednesday at 6 PM in the last live stream.
Currently, there is a strange mood in Destiny. As the transition to Destiny 2 approaches and the light level no longer rises, Bungie seems to be taking it easy with what will happen in Destiny 1 in the coming weeks and months.
The motto seems to be “Destiny – It doesn’t really matter now.”
