In Destiny, a graphic has appeared that supposedly shows the Year 2 “Moments of Triumph.” However, these are not confirmed.
Before the “The Taken King” expansion, Bungie revealed the “Moments of Triumph”: specific tasks that Year 1 Guardians could complete to earn an exclusive reward, a fancy emblem. Thus, the veterans of Destiny were recognized, who can now proudly say: “I am a Year 1 Guardian. I have experienced all these ‘Moments of Triumph!'”
Now, a graphic has appeared that indicates these Triumph Moments for Year 2 of Destiny.
Are these the Year 2 “Moments of Triumph” in Destiny?
The user Vivek Hari shared this graphic on his Twitter account. The image is allegedly based on data he found in the API database.
According to the graphic, the Moments of Triumph for Year 2 are:
- Challenge of the Elders: Complete the scorecard in the Prison of Elders, the Elders’ Seal.
- The Play’s the Thing: Complete the main questline of “The Taken King.”
- The Third Element: Complete a Year 2 focus of a character.
- This is Amazing: Finish the Crucible questline.
- Eris Morn’s Revenge: Collect all 50 calcified fragments.
- A Blade Reborn: Complete one of Shaxx’s quests culminating in an exotic sword.
- Return to the Reef: Complete the quests from the April update “At the Gates” and “Return to the Prison.”
- The Sword Logic: Defeat Oryx in the King’s Fall raid on Hard.
If these tasks are confirmed, there would be some hefty, daunting challenges – especially for Guardians not in an active clan. The 50 fragments also need to be painstakingly collected – for which you must complete all three challenge modes in the raid.
On the other hand, if you are only engaged in PvE, the Crucible questline presents a significant challenge. Many Guardians may have started them, but few have completed them. However, a note: These Year 2 moments are not confirmed and do not appear on Bungie’s website. What rewards there may be is unknown.
