In Destiny we look at the rolls of the weapons that the last Iron Banner brings before “The Iron Lords Awakening”.

Since the end of the server downtime, the August Iron Banner is live. Lord Saladin welcomes you for the last time in the Tower. So enjoy the view once more, as who knows when the gate to this area of the Tower, where the Iron Lord stands, will open again.
The weapons in Lord Saladin’s offer
The Iron Banner after the launch of “Rise of Iron” will experience some changes. In the current week, everything remains the same. Lord Saladin offers you his tokens, shaders, class-specific and PlayStation-exclusive armor pieces and weapons with fixed rolls from certain Iron Banner ranks. Don’t forget the daily and weekly bounties to quickly rank up.
In the last Iron Banner before RoI, Lord Saladin has the shotgun Deidris’ Retorte and the hand cannon Finnalas Fährnis. While these two guns can drop with random perks after matches, the weapons are available from Lord Saladin with fixed rolls.
Deidris’ Retorte in the August Iron Banner
You will receive this pretty shotgun when you reach Iron Banner rank 4 and put down 90 Legendary Marks. Deidris’ Retorte comes with Solar damage and the following perk selection:
- Full Auto: You can fire the weapon in full automatic mode.
- Resupply: The magazine is replenished when you use a super.
You have the choice between:
- Lightweight: When held, grants +2 Character Agility.
- Extended Barrel: Increased range, slower reload.
- Smallbore: Increased range and stability, slower reload and reduced magazine size.
Additionally, you can adjust impact, range, and recoil with Softer Ballistics, Improved Ballistics, and Aggressive Ballistics.

Finnalas Fährnis in the August Iron Banner
Finnalas Fährnis is a hand cannon that you can acquire with Iron Banner rank 5 and 90 Legendary Marks. Just to be upfront: The roll of this weapon is also not amazing. However, since hand cannons benefit from range bonuses, you can at least do something with it:
- Outlaw: Precision kills significantly improve reload speed.
- Reactive Reload: Reloading after a kill grants bonus damage for a short time.
You have the choice between:
- Hand Loader: The weapon is effective at longer ranges.
- Smallbore: Increased range and stability, slower reload and reduced magazine size.
- Extended Barrel: Increased range, slower reload.
With Calm Hand OV, Quickdraw OV, and Fixed Draw OV, you can influence handling and recoil.
