In Destiny, the Iron Banner has a date in December 2016.
In the “This Week at Bungie”, the Community Manager DeeJ announced the next monthly PvP event. The December Iron Banner. During this event, even the biggest PvP haters will check out the Crucible to grab the good loot and continue their journey to Light Level 400 – if they haven’t reached it yet.
Here are the dates:
- Start: December 6 at 7 PM
- End: December 13 at 10 AM
Which game mode does Santa … uh, Efrideet bring? This time it will be Rift.
Months ago, Bungie stated that while Rift is a fun mode, it wouldn’t really fit the Iron Banner. Therefore, Guardians were not excited in the past when this mode was up. However, it is making a return now. On reddit, a Guardian writes: As much as he doesn’t like Rift anymore, he will be hunting “The distant star”.
Because this scout rifle will be featured in December, along with the fusion rifle. The armor pieces are helmet and the class item.
DeeJ emphasizes that the safest way to ignite the Rift is to play with a determined fireteam. So team up and grab the loot.
A look back and forward
Yesterday, extensive maintenance took place. Now the confirmation that only the servers were maintained. There were no changes to the gameplay, you shouldn’t notice anything new.
Next weekend, Bungie will be at the PlayStation Experience 2016. What they will announce there is still uncertain, probably there will be info about the SRL. DeeJ reveals that shortly after the Iron Banner, there will be “other things” to play. Anyone who owns “Rise of Iron” is already invited to the “next party” that the live team will host.
More information about this will follow soon.
