In Destiny , we take a look at this week’s videos. This time, there is a “professional” video.
Last week, the videos of the week, the “Movies of the Week” (MOTW), were canceled. The reason for this was the gameplay premiere of Destiny 2. This week, they are back – and really good!
A video was able to carry the title MOTW, behind which lies an interesting and curious story: Over a month ago, the user iamnotmybuddypaul reached out to the Reddit community for help regarding a potential job.
He is a freelance editor who wants to apply at a larger gaming company. For this, he has to create a trailer and since he is a huge Destiny fan, he chose this game. Now he needs impressive gameplay footage from the Guardian community that he can use for the trailer. He wants to combine this with scenes from the Bungie trailers.
A few days ago, the user came back to speak. He received tremendous help and finished the trailer. Unfortunately, he did not get the job. In order not to be stuck with the trailer, he now wants to show it to the community. Many Guardians are now impressed by his work. The trailer also made it to Bungie, who chose it as the video of the week:
The video is called “The Chain.” On one hand, it is the name of the song “The Chain,” and on the other, it symbolizes the relationship between Guardians and Ghosts, according to the user.
Continuing with the videos of the week: This music video received an honorable mention. In it, you can hear music from PSY and see dance performances from Guardians. Well done:
