In Destiny, we are never alone
We have all encountered hundreds, if not thousands of other Guardians. Many remained only random encounters, while others became friends and allies in the fight against the Darkness over time. Der Ralle fondly remembers when he encountered “a stranger” in the Beta. He invited him into his squad, they set off together, and have been playing Destiny together ever since.
NiDje used to diligently complete Strikes with two colleagues until they had the idea to start a raid. They chatted with “some randoms in the Tower” who could help them. They met a few Bavarians, “funny guys”. They still play with them today, every day! Since then, they no longer need to approach anyone, as they have “cursed and laughed together for hours.” Well, that’s something you like to hear!
BigFlash88 considers Destiny to be the “best multiplayer game there is“. At one point, he and a buddy decided to go into the first raid, for which other people were needed. From those Guardians they met, three have become clan colleagues and friends. The next raid also saw another buddy joining for eternity. That’s nice!
BFCler1988 also sat down back then and searched for a clan as he no longer wanted to face the Darkness alone. Shortly thereafter, he found a very nice clan that welcomed him. “That was the best thing that could happen to me, the guys are just great!” For them, playing together is far more important than success, which then came automatically. The sense of community is what Destiny is for him. I completely agree!
By the way, Malcolm2402 also proves a social streak; he has brought seven or eight people to Destiny, but he has not left them alone; he has gently accompanied them through all dangers and “raised them up.”
Torchwood2000 points out that it is very good to live as a solo fighter in Destiny. Of course, everything takes a little longer and some raids are simply not doable, but still, Destiny is really good even without “joining a clan”.
