In Destiny, another hotfix will be released on Tuesday, January 20th. It prepares the launch of the Hard Mode for Crota’s End.
At this moment, Bungie has announced a hotfix, patch 11.0.4. Nothing exciting is happening. The Hard Mode for Crota’s End will come tomorrow, Wednesday, January 21st. It is scheduled to open around 7 PM and still needs some data.
The time “7:00 PM” (our time) is not set in stone and may change. It is more of a “from 7:00 PM it could be time” idea. The exact time, the starting signal, will be announced shortly tomorrow on Twitter. The opening of the raid will be done “manually.” In the USA, on the West Coast, it will then be 10:00 AM, while for us it will approach prime time and may be a bit later.
There is likely to be quite a race for the first kills, as Bungie has announced that it will mention the best teams and put them on a “podium.” This already happened with the first kills in “The Glass Chamber.” The teams were then interviewed by DeeJ in the Weekly Update.
The first time the guild PrimeGuard took down Atheon on normal, InvigorateGaming then struck in Hard Mode. Invigorate was also the team that sent Crota to the ground for the first time, just six hours after the DLC “Darkness Awaits” was released. They are likely considered the favorites for the next World-First.
The other two points found in the patch notes of the hotfix are a fix for the bridge encounter in the raid “Crota’s End,” as players were able to prevent the enemy spawn due to a glitch. Additionally, they will also fix a rare bug with Crota himself, where he stopped summoning the Oversouls.
The patch will send players back to the loading screen and require them to log in again. So it’s not a good idea, to start a Nightfall now. Bungie does not specify when the hotfix will exactly come, probably relatively soon.
