In Destiny, a small hotfix was deployed on the evening of March 10.
At this moment, many Destiny players are asking: Why was there a restart? What happened? Is this maintenance or an update? Was anything changed in the Companion App or were there fixes for bugs in the Raid Crota’s End? Perhaps the 4th Horseman or the Vex Mythoclast was repaired? Why am I not aware of this and where are the patch notes?
The answer: None of that, and we have the patch notes here. Patch 1.1.1.1. has been deployed. It only brings changes on Bungie’s side. It makes it easier for them to access and manage the databases. For the players, everything should remain the same.
This small update provides for the installation of new developer tools on the back end of Destiny.

Guardians must return to the title screen in Destiny to apply the update. However, as Bungie tweets, they will not be kicked from activities.
Patch 1.1.1.1 goes live today! You will need to return to the title screen to take the update. Players will not be kicked from activities.
