The Glass Chamber: In Pursuit of Secrets

While Destiny showed its ugly face with the loot cave, the raid “The Glass Chamber” fascinated the Guardians from the beginning.

Because Bungie was already known in other games for hiding puzzles and secrets.

Quickly, a legend spread in “The Glass Chamber” about a secret “sixth chest.” 5 treasure chests had already been discovered, only the 6th Bungie had apparently hidden too well.

The raid “The Glass Chamber” was investigated and scrutinized. Every stone was turned over by the treasure hunters. Somewhere they suspected the “secret sixth treasure chest.”

Some secrets were to be extracted from the Oracles – players wanted to destroy them in specific sequences to reach the 6th chest. Researchers analyzed drawings on temple walls, doing everything they could to obtain the chest.

Once, community manager DeeJ almost revealed the secret of the 6th chest to a raid group. After the end of Atheon, DeeJ shouted “Come with me! I’ll show you the secret chest!” Then he shot into the abyss behind Atheon and said “There’s the chest!” His companion jumped in the direction and to certain death.

DeeJ then: “The guy believes everything.”
