A highlight from the somewhat weaker last 15 months was a livestream featuring the actresses behind the strong female characters of Destiny, namely Queen Mara Sov and Eris Morn.
In the livestream, one gets a glimpse of how Destiny’s narrative could continue to evolve in the coming years.
Mara Sov, the Queen of the Awoken, is designed as a strong character who goes through a heroic journey, of which we have seen very little so far. But the plans for the character are fantastic, and the actress Kirsten Potter is eager to develop her character further.

Especially the phrase “Mara Sov bows to no one” can be understood as a key element of the proud queen. It’s a shame that we’ve had so little story in Destiny so far – the potential to further develop the world of Destiny and its characters seems gigantic: one of the great hopes for Destiny 2.
