In Destiny we take a closer look at the gear and especially the weapons from the “Wrath of the Machine” heroic mode.
On October 18, 2016, the starting whistle for the heroic mode of the “Wrath of the Machine” raid echoed through the Destiny universe. Countless Guardians dove straight into the fight against Aksis and Co., with this new challenge already mastered by the first strike team in 45 minutes . How the heroic mode differed from the normal mode of “Wrath of the Machine” can be learned here.
Alongside stronger enemies and slightly altered mechanics, there’s one significant difference: the loot. With the activation of the heroic mode (also called hard mode), Guardians can obtain raid-exclusive items and weapons that were previously unreachable. Because “Wrath of the Machine” has some exciting legendary weapons in store, not just the exotic pulse rifle Outbreak Prime.
The Gear in the Heroic Mode of Wrath of the Machine
In the new raid of “Rise of Iron”, Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters can each receive their own raid armor set consisting of helmet, gloves, chest armor, boots, and class items. With the hard mode, the Splicer version of these items becomes available, which is in black. With ornaments, you can make them glow, as you can see with the following glove:
The armor pieces are called Kosmoklast (Titan), Nanomania (Hunter), and Miasma (Warlock).
