Tlaloc – Named After the Rain God
The exotic scout rifle Tlaloc in Destiny is named after an Aztec rain and fertility god. So, we have fulfilled our educational duty.
To get the exotic scout rifle, you must be a Warlock.
Then you need reputation rank 3 with weaponsmith Banshee-44. You increase your reputation with Banshee-44 in Destiny by diligently completing the weapon tests with him.
After that, you need to complete 100 kills while you have a primary weapon telemetry active and are using a scout rifle. That shouldn’t be a problem! If necessary, you can do the famous “You’ve awoken the hive” mission, preferably something where you can quickly snag many easy kills in succession.
This should also work if you are wearing a class item that helps you gain experience faster with the scout rifle.
As the last task from Banshee, you need to obtain 10 weapon parts by dismantling rare or legendary scout rifles. Dismantling a legendary scout rifle yields 5 weapon parts, so this can go very quickly.
Congratulations on the Tlaloc!
How good is the Tlaloc in Destiny?
The exotic scout rifle Tlaloc is indeed considered quite a powerful weapon, especially in PvP. Especially when you run around with a charged super and take the bonus for stability and fire rate, it has excellent base stats thanks to abundance.
The Tlaloc is ideal for Sun Singers warlocks and can deal devastating damage. The Tlaloc is a good choice for any Warlock in Destiny.
