New to Destiny?
Anyone starting Destiny for the first time should take their time and find their way around, get familiar with the different weapon types, and find out if they prefer to play Hunter, Warlock, or Titan.
With The Taken King, every player can immediately catapult one of their characters to level 25, to then start with the main stories and quests of The Taken King. During these first steps, you don’t need guides, you don’t need anyone to talk you through, you can get to know the game and the gameplay first.
And sooner or later the question will arise:
Level 40 in Destiny – what now?
Reaching level 40 works, as in other games, by gaining more XP, leveling up, and then you are at the maximum level. In Destiny, this is where the game actually begins, as the “Light level” becomes important. This indicates how strong the player’s gear is by forming the average of the attack and defense values of the equipped armor and weapons.
The most important thing is to
get acquainted with the new “Tower” and the collections within it. Here, in these oversized iPads, lie your trophies. Most Destiny players aim to fill these “display cases” as much as possible and do everything to acquire as many shaders, sparrows, emblems, exotic weapons, and armors as possible.
Legendary Marks – what’s next?
To fill as many of these display cases as possible, it is first important to raise the Light value as high as possible, as this in turn allows stronger equipment and makes it possible to tackle the more difficult missions.
Therefore you will surely want to know how to increase your Light level. One of the ways to increase the Light level works by buying legendary gear pieces that are available from various vendors in the Tower.
The most important currency in Destiny for this are “legendary marks.” For 150 legendary marks, players can buy important weapons and armors from the vendors in the Tower.

Who is Banshee-44?
An interesting role is played by the gunsmith Banshee-44. Players can order various weapons from him and pick them up in different variations a week later.

Who is Xur?
At some point, you will be dealing with the “exotic” items, the special, golden items of which you can only wear 1 weapon and 1 armor piece at the same time. This is where Xur comes into play.
Xur is a special vendor in Destiny, who is only present for 48 hours between Friday and Sunday morning. He offers special armors and weapons, as well as “Glass needles.” Every Friday, we present his inventory at Mein-MMO.
Among the weapons he can sell are the No Land Beyond and the coveted Zhalo Supercell.
The most important currency with him is “strange coins.” Advanced players can farm them.

These weapons can only be obtained on special days
Three exotic weapons can only be obtained on specific days when a special mission is active. This changes daily. It is not predictable when you will have a chance to obtain one of the weapons:

The King’s Discipline: The Raid King’s Fall
The Raid King’s Fall is designed for 6 advanced players who can communicate and coordinate with each other. King’s Fall offers numerous secrets and hidden chests. The final boss Oryx is considered a true killer and requires a special strategy.
