The quest line “Corruption Channeling” – This is what the SIVA engine is all about
Congratulations, now that you have the quest line, you can master the individual quest steps. Some of them are quite tricky. Here’s the complete solution.
First Step: An Unusual Engine
For this, you need to go to Shiro-4 with your freshly obtained SIVA engine. This should not be a problem. He is located in front of the Iron Temple at the bridge.
Important: Complete the following steps all with the same fireteam consisting of one Titan, Hunter, and Warlock! Do not switch members randomly, or complications may arise.
2. Step: Be the Battery
Complete objectives with a fireteam consisting of a Hunter, Titan, and Warlock. This step is quite versatile, but manageable with diligence:
Complete a Nightfall strike
Master 3 events in the Plaguelands
Complete 3 Crucible matches or Heroic strikes
Achieve 50 kills with a pulse rifle.
3. Step: What Binds the Light
Now you need to work on the SIVA engine. Specifically, you need to synchronize the energy flow. You will need to solve a small puzzle for this. Go to Felwinter Peak.
The solution: Top is 1, middle is 2, bottom is 3. From left to right:
Warlock: 31313
Hunter: 23223
Titan: 32323
Once all three fireteam members enter the correct code, you can activate the last node, and this quest step is complete.
4. Step: Speak with Shiro-4.
Speak with him and receive a charged SIVA engine.
5. Step: Parts of a Whole
Attack Fallen in the Plaguelands and collect the technology Shiro-4 needs. For this:
Explore the Plaguelands
Fight three times in the Archon Forge
Destroy Sepiks Perfected (Strike)
6. Step: Equation
Now you need to solve a puzzle where you must enter a code. This time a bit more detailed, but we have the solutions for you, depending on your class.
Also for the charged SIVA engine: 1 is at the top, 4 is at the bottom. Here are the variations:
Warlock: 13334 or 23444
Hunter: 24414 or 41233
Titan: 42123
Note: To activate these nodes, you must be in Felwinter Peak!
7. Step: Calculate
Return to Shiro-4, and you will receive an unstable SIVA engine.
8. Step: Research and Destroy
Now go back into the “Wrath of the Machine” raid. In it, you need to collect SIVA control grids by defeating the leaders of the Devil Splicers in this raid. You do not need to activate the monitors again – just run through the raid.
9. Step: UnKnowledgeMakes
Balance the energy flow of the SIVA engine for all randomized patterns.
Here you need to do some calculations – again in Felwinter Peak. There are no specific guidelines. But all three fireteam members should seem to come to the same end sum. The top columns are for addition, the bottom two for subtraction. (+ and – calculations).

10. Step: Outbreak Prime
Return to Shiro-4 and receive the exotic pulse rifle Outbreak Prime at Light Level 390.
