Destiny Guide: Outbreak Prime – How to get the exotic pulse rifle “Outbreak Prime”

Activate all monitors – This is how you get the quest line “Corruption Channeling”

Are you ready for a lengthy and complicated journey to obtain Outbreak Prime? Good! Let’s get started right away.

First, you need to obtain the quest line “Corruption Channeling”. You receive this in the hidden chest in the “Wrath of the Machine” raid, which is guarded by deadly laser beams. You must follow 8 steps to open this chest.

1. Start the “Wrath of the Machine” raid with a fireteam of 6 players. Since it will later be necessary in the quest that you proceed with a three-person fireteam consisting of a Titan, a Hunter, and a Warlock, you can already team up in these groups now.
2. Activate all known monitors in the raid. In the following video, you will be guided to all screen locations starting at 1:45. You will also see the location of the once mysterious chest:

3. Divide your fireteam in the “Diamond Room.” Four Guardians stand on four canisters in this room. One Guardian is responsible for area 00, one for 01, one for 02, and one for 03. In the following graphic, you will see the areas and the marked canisters where you need to stand:

4. The other two Guardians are the “callers.” They need to go into the server room and go to the left and right sides of the screens. Once everyone has taken their positions and the four Guardians in the Diamond Room are standing on the right canisters, the two Guardians in the server room will see the display: “Activate Monitors”:

5. Now the four Guardians in the Diamond Room step down from the canisters and onto the bridge.

6. So far, so good. Now it gets complicated.

• Only one Guardian in the server room needs to click on “Activate Monitors”.
• A number will light up in the bottom right corner of each of the two monitors.

Important:

• The left monitor is the “column.”
• The right monitor is the “row.”

Now you need to convert the number on the screen to a decimal number. Here’s the key:

• 0000 – 0
• 0001 – 1
• 0010 – 2
• 0011 – 3
• 0100 – 4
• 0101 – 5
• 0110 – 6

The callers announce the column and the row based on the display on the screen. An example:

• The Guardian at the left monitor has 0001. He says: Column 1
• The Guardian at the right monitor has 0011. He says: Row 3

Now the person in area 00 steps into the mentioned canister in the correct column and row. Once they are on the right canister, it lights up a little and a sound is made.

New numbers now appear on both screens. The Guardian in area 01 must step to the corresponding canister. You will do this for all four Guardians (then 02 and then 03).

Once you have done that, the diamond will open! Inside, you will find a chest and the monitor that you need to activate.

7. Now defeat the final boss Aksis in the raid.

8. Finally, go to the hidden chest with the laser beams. You activate the last monitor, and the path to the chest will be free. You can also find the way to the chest in the above embedded video (starting at minute 1).

In the chest, you will receive a SIVA engine and the quest “Corruption Channeling.”
