The biggest mystery of “Rise of Iron” is solved: Guardians were able to wrap their arms around the exotic pulse rifle “Outbreak Prime”. It was already seen in videos before the release of “The Taken King,” and most Guardians thought: I definitely want that thing!
And now there are step-by-step guides online detailing how to get the coveted raid weapon, which is tied to “Wrath of the Machine.” However, this is not a child’s play, as the Outbreak Prime is the reward for a lengthy and complicated quest – and it already requires effort to even obtain this quest line. Is the effort worth it?
This is what the raid weapon “Outbreak Prime” can do
Currently, it is still too early to write a comprehensive review of Outbreak Prime. Only a few Guardians have the weapon. But its appearance and sound are well-received by some:
One thing is clear: This pulse rifle allows you a new gaming experience as it comes with unique perks. For this reason, Guardians say: “I don’t care if the weapon is practical; I want it!” The perks are more geared towards PvE and definitely focused on precision skills.
By the way, Outbreak Prime is not yet listed in the official database, the “Armory.” Therefore, our information comes from various forum posts and videos.
We present the perks in English:
- The corruption spreads: Enemies hit repeatedly by this weapon release SIVA nanites that attack other enemies. Fallen take additional damage.
- Virulence: Precision kills release a swarm of SIVA nanites that attack other enemies.
- Outlaw: Precision kills with this weapon significantly improve reload speed.
You also have the choice between:
- Lightweight: When held, this weapon gives you +2 character agility.
- Handloaded: This weapon is effective at greater ranges.
- Custom Stock: Increases weapon stability.
Furthermore, you can play with Soft Ballistics, Improved Ballistics, and Flinch Stability regarding recoil, impact, and range.
