Official tournaments for the MMO shooter Destiny will start in early December. There are cash prizes to be won.
Shortly before the launch of “Rise of Iron”, Private Matches were activated in Destiny. Since then, it has been possible to create your own PvP games and challenge friends – or even to hold tournaments. We at Mein-MMO immediately seized the opportunity to organize a tournament for the launch of RoI. Now official Destiny tournaments by MLG are following.
All elite warriors of the Crucible are challenged to participate in these tournaments. Tomorrow, on December 3rd, two tournaments for North America and Europe will start. These will be featured by Bungie and organized by “Major League Gaming”. There are cash prizes of $500. Glory and honor await you.
“MLG”, Major League Gaming, is the eSports organizer that Activision purchased for 46 million US dollars. Activision is also the publisher of Destiny. One doesn’t need much imagination to see why these tournaments find favor with Bungie and make it to the official Twitter channel.
It will be played on PS4. The game mode is 3v3 Skirmish. Registration is open until Saturday at 4:55 PM.
