Bungie’s Weekly Update on Destiny was pretty thin this week. There was only information on how they intend to convey details later.
Once a week, on Thursday evenings, there are new updates from Bungie on how Destiny will proceed. This week’s updates are even thinner than usual. Now there’s not just no sausage in the info soup, but they’ve also left out the noodles and marrow dumplings. Basically, they announced how they intend to announce information in the coming weeks. But well, let’s see what Bungie says:
Starting in March, there will be a live stream once a week, where they want to introduce the team to the players or showcase specific activities.
On March 2, there will be a “Ride Along,” where they will take another look at the Dreadnaught and discuss the design.
In the weeks following, they will focus on the audio team and will be shaking things up in the Crucible with a clan.

The Spring PvE Update seems to be getting the Year-1 DLC treatment
They assure once again that they will soon share information about the Spring Update. It is on the way. Information will probably be presented together with developers. It seems they plan to unveil the update in several stages through live streams and want to announce these streams with a blog post each time. They likely plan to present it similar to the DLCs in Year 1. But the wording here is still not very concrete.
Or to put it positively: Hey, movie nights with Bungie!
Really a very thin update this time. A comment on reddit sums it up with “I had low expectations and was still disappointed.”
From Friday at 10:00 AM, Xur will be back in the Tower. We will report on his inventory. We will skip the “Speaking of disappointment” part at this point because hopefully everyone is thinking it by now.
