In Destiny, Aksis is the final boss in the “Wrath of the Machine” raid. He can be defeated completely without the use of Guardian weapons.
In the past, we often saw that the raids in Destiny challenged Guardians to creative runs time and again. Especially Crota had to endure quite a lot. Countless times he was defeated solo, he was dance-killed or eliminated without weapon use. His father Oryx could also be defeated solo.
Clearly, Guardians seem to particularly target the final bosses, as Aksis has also been defeated in various ways. A few weeks ago, we reported that Aksis could be taken down with two players. Now he has been taken down without the use of Guardian weapons.

This feat was accomplished by the team led by YouTuber Sean Gallagher. They fought Aksis and the adds using only grenades and melee attacks. Only the cannons had to be used to destroy the Servitors. That is just how the game mechanics require it. However, these were used only on the Servitors, and they did not shoot at the adds or Aksis with them. No Guardian weapon was used. Here is the video:
The clip lasts just under 15 minutes. The team consists of 6 Warlocks who use fusion grenades.
Until the Heroic Mode of “Wrath of the Machine” launches in mid-October, you can try to replicate this run.
