In Bungie’s MMO shooter Destiny, clever players have discovered a new farming spot that seems to be a clear programming error: countless Thralls spawn, but they do not resist.
Farming spots and loot caves have a long tradition in Destiny , as there was a real hype about it at the beginning, until Bungie put a stop to it. Even today, farming spots are interesting, but not as attractive anymore, as Strikes, Nightfalls, and Raids have become significantly more lucrative. Nevertheless, there is still interest in good spots, for example to level weapons, farm Glimmer, or complete certain missions or bounties.
The latest tip in Destiny involves a number of programming errors, and those who prefer “clean” gameplay should stop reading here.
The farming spot for those who find “moving” too strenuous
Okay, if you are still here: Last week, Patch 1.1.1 also brought a bit of new data for “House of Wolves”. Since this patch, there is now a spot at one of the “not finished” locations on Earth where countless Thralls spawn, just standing around and letting themselves be killed. Or this spot has existed all along, and no one discovered it before.
This is therefore an ideal spot to comfortably complete achievements, such as “Kills without dying” or specific weapon achievements.
The glitch is easy to duplicate. Players need to start the mission “The Dark Within” on Earth on “Easy (Level 3)” and then follow this video. The only difficult part is getting up there, after that … well. Two players are recommended to “manage” the spot.
One can assume that Bungie will fix this bug or glitch relatively quickly.
In English, this is called the “Infinite Thrall Glitch”
