Which perks are helpful in the Crucible?
In this section, we show you which perks are particularly helpful for the Crucible. The perks are divided into four columns:
Column 1 – determines the scope properties of the rifle
Column 2 – First unlockable main perk
Column 3 – Utility perk that enhances certain properties
Column 4 – Second unlockable main perk
Column 1: Scope Properties
Look for the following perks in Column 1 when reforging:
| Property | Zoom | Aim Assist |
| Shortview SLH10 | x4.5 | +20 |
| Longview SLR10 | x5.0 | +30 |
| ScopeSys SLS20 | x8.0 | +35 |
Depending on your preferred zoom factor, you should pay attention to the specified scopes when reforging. Here you will find an overview of all sniper scopes.
Column 2: The First Main Perk
Look for the following perks in Column 2:
Hidden Hand – This weapon improves aim assist
Clown Cartridge – When reloading this weapon, you have a chance of a magazine larger than normal
Rodeo – Reduces the severity of this weapon’s recoil
Column 2 doesn’t have many recommended perks. Clown Cartridge is more situational, you want to take down your opponent with as few shots as possible, the magazine size is secondary. The effect from the Rodeo perk is at least hard to notice with sniper rifles. The best perk here is Hidden Hand, as it positively affects aiming.
Column 3: The Utility Perk
The following utility perks in Column 3 are interesting when reforging:
Injection Molding – Increased stability, faster handling, reduced range
Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn incredibly fast
Snapshot – Aiming goes super fast with this weapon
Hand-laid Stock – Increased stability, reduced range
Column 4: The Second Main Perk
And finally the best perks for Column 4:
Unyielding – With this weapon, aiming while firing is easier
Performance Bonus – Kills with this weapon can grant extra reserve ammunition
Grenadier – Kills with this weapon reduce the cooldown of your grenade
Eye of Sol, the Trials of Osiris Sniper, probably the hardest to get, what can it do?
What are the rewarding combinations of these perks? And are these really the strongest snipers in Destiny?
