In Destiny, we look at all “Iron Lord” artifacts by Tyra Karn. Which artifact is best for which situation?
On September 20, 2016, the Destiny expansion “Rise of Iron” was released. Along with new activities and fresh gear, “game-changing” artifacts were introduced, each referencing a deceased Iron Lord.
Many Guardians had already collected all eight artifacts within weeks of launch and tuned them. For this, Tyra Karn at the Iron Temple offers a quest once a week for each character of yours. Perform noble deeds in the Plaguelands – that is, eliminate Splicers – so you can receive an “Iron Lord” artifact.
But what do you do with all these artifacts in your inventory and vault? When do I use which one?
A preliminary note: You should definitely have one of these artifacts in the artifact slot, provided you have some with good attributes. They bring passive buffs – and every buff is better than no buff at all. You can change the artifacts at any time in the game and adapt them to the situation.
On the following pages, we will present the artifacts individually and state their pros and cons. We will also specify in which situations they are best suited.
