In the MMO shooter Destiny the Iron Banner starts in a few days – or?
Lord Saladin has already planned his journey to the Tower for the upcoming Tuesday – the only question is whether Bungie will put a stop to it again. Because the June Iron Banner was actually supposed to begin on June 21. However, a frustrating problem made a fair PvP event impossible, which is why it had to be canceled last week.
Now Bungie has resolved this problem. The Trials of Osiris are ongoing, and so far without major complaints. Whether the Iron Banner will take place depends largely on the feedback regarding whether the hotfix was truly successful. So far, things are looking good. Bungie has not yet communicated that the Iron Banner will be canceled again.
On the contrary, this tweet can certainly be interpreted as an official confirmation that the June Iron Banner will start on Tuesday as scheduled:

The Iron Banner in June
If everything goes as planned, the Iron Banner will start on Tuesday, June 28, at 7 PM. It will end on Tuesday, July 5, at 11 AM.
The game mode is Conflict.
The rewards are the same as last week: In addition to class-specific and PlayStation-exclusive armor pieces, you can score the Scout Rifle and Machine Gun. While these items won’t make you an Iron Lord, they show that you prove yourself worthy to herald “The Wrath of the Iron Lords” with Lord Saladin this fall.
