Bungie has canceled the Iron Banner in Destiny today. The June edition was supposed to start tonight, June 21.
The Trials of Osiris have already been canceled this weekend due to issues with how matches were formed. There were often handicap matches because one team was not complete.
For these reasons, Bungie has also canceled the Iron Banner in Destiny that was supposed to start tonight. Bungie announced this via Twitter at midnight.
Due to the same issue that prevented players from joining matches in Trials of Osiris, we are also cancelling Iron Banner for this week.

Iron Banner for this week canceled – Will it come next week?
The problem with Osiris occurred late Friday evening. Over the weekend, it was decided that this is not a problem that can be quickly fixed, and therefore Osiris was ended early.
There are no further statements from Bungie. In the past, it has been the case that the Iron Banner started later after the problem was resolved by a hotfix. The problem was an exploit.
In this case, it is quite possible that the Iron Banner will be postponed by a week. The wording in the tweet suggests “cancelling Iron Banner this week” rather than “this month.”
