In the MMO shooter Destiny , Wednesday is weapon day. What weapons does Banshee-44 have for you to test, order, and pick up on January 13th?
Banshee-44 is basically the Xur for advanced players. A kind of “self-service counter.” While Xur comes with everything packed and ready, with Banshee, you need your own effort, luck, and a bit of knowledge about the weapons.
The procedure works as follows: Guardians must reach a certain reputation rank with him (3 is usually enough, 5 for exotic weapons). This is done by trying out test weapons. Then you can commission individual weapons from the weapon master (5 are available for selection each week) and pick them up in various versions the following week. If there’s no great roll for your desired weapon, you just wait another 7 days.

These are the 5 test weapons for this week
- With a Suros auto rifle, you should achieve precision kills.
- With a fusion rifle from Omolon, it’s time to venture into the crucible.
- With a pulse rifle from Häkke in hand, your Guardian must land precision shots.
- The pulse rifle from Suros is meant to be used against the Vex.
- A rocket launcher from Suros will take you into the crucible.

These 5 weapons can be ordered this week
First is the auto rifle Zarinaea-D from Häkke. This is a pretty standard weapon with relatively high stability, low impact, and typical range. A “fairly balanced” auto rifle. Most Guardians tend to lean towards extremes.
The Lyudmila-D, a pulse rifle, has often been featured in Banshee-44’s inventory. This is also a quite balanced weapon. Since pulse rifles have fallen out of fashion, it’s probably not as in demand as it used to be.
With the Jingukogo-D , there’s a shotgun… we’re repeating ourselves, but probably no one has really been waiting for it either. Small magazine, medium impact, quite high stability, no range. It would have to come with absolutely killer perks for anyone to raise an eyebrow.
The same goes for the sniper rifle Aoife Rua-D. Impact of 22, relatively weak stability, high range… there are simply too many stars in this segment like Empty Look or the Eirene.
The Uzume RR4, also a sniper rifle, looks better, can get the interesting Omolon perks. This is probably still the best choice you can make in this weak week.

These weapons can be picked up with strong rolls
The Suros PDX-41 from last week is available this week with Hammer Forged, Spray and Play, and Lightweight/Hand Laid Stock. That’s quite a decent roll – even though other perks like Counterweight or Hidden Hand might be even stronger.
There’s a Void rocket launcher SUROS JLB-42 with Tracking, Lightweight, and Heavy Payload. That’s pretty good. The JLB-42 was also available last week.
The Herja-D is coming this week with Headseeker, Zen Moment, and Hand Laid Stock.
The sniper rifle Tamar-D comes with interesting rolls for PvE. Roll 1 (Arc) and Roll 3 (Void Ignite) both have Overflow and Spray and Play. As a third perk then Attached Magazine. Overflow brings more ammo for the secondary weapon and for the heavy weapon.
We will update the article if we come across great rolls. Currently, everything feels a bit underwhelming – after the extremely strong last week, it’s rather meager this week. Bad Banshee, no motor oil for you!
