This week’s “This Week at Bungie” is once again an announcement of an announcement. But this time there is a concrete date: Today we will learn about the future of Destiny!
Last week, a roadmap was promised for what is coming to Destiny in March. Now we know:

There probably won’t be any discussion about Destiny 2
We probably shouldn’t expect any new information about the sequel “Destiny 2”. Everything indicates that Bungie will only discuss the content update slated for spring.
However, we shouldn’t expect detailed information: According to DeeJ, there will be an announcement and a release schedule. He also mentions that the discussion about this update will only begin today. Many details will likely not come to light just yet. We at Mein-MMO will definitely report on this in German soon.
Furthermore, DeeJ shares that Bungie didn’t want to be “cruel” since they have been waiting so long to share information about the next content update. However, they want to give the live team the necessary space to properly finish the update and refine the details.

Everything you do in Destiny is tracked by Bungie. Collecting as much data about the Guardians in-game helps the developers improve the MMO shooter.
The engineering team now has plans to improve data collection. An update will be necessary next week. However, there is still no concrete date for this update. Player experience will not be affected.
