Titan, Hunter or will it be the Warlock?

First, I had to choose a class. I didn’t have to think long about this. As “Ttime”, I naturally take the “T-tan”, the Titan, I thought to myself with a grin. An uninformed glance at the subclasses encouraged my quick decision ‒ because striker and defender, this guy can do it all!
So, I continued with customizing my appearance and the question of whether human, Awoken or Exo. Aside from “human”, everything sounded rather unfamiliar to me, so I quickly picked an Exo, made him hideously terrible in all imaginable colors, so I had to chuckle a bit, and finally started the game.
Destiny began with big spectacle and many questions
Wow! An intro video followed that would have knocked me off the couch. Epic graphics, grandiose music accompaniment, wow! You could see a spectacular landing on Mars and then a handful of “astronauts” happily walking over the red planet. At the end of the intro, when the music intensified and a gigantic sphere appeared, I thought to myself: Awesome! This has reached a new epic level on next-gen.
While I was still completely captivated trying to get my jaw back up, I was told something about a traveler, darkness, and a lot of evil that apparently needed to be stopped. In short: I understood absolutely nothing. Just that there was something evil here, and I was probably the good warrior of light who was supposed to put an end to it all.
Then it was off to Earth, to the Cosmodrome, beautiful landscapes, wonderful, so far all my expectations were more than fulfilled, even though I hadn’t held a weapon in my hand yet. Graphics were pretty okay, music epic. Now it was time to go.
The thing that would soon turn out to be my ghost, which was just looking for me, seemed a bit suspect to me at first. But as life energy flowed through my once dead body again, and my ghost became visible from a first-person perspective, I was thrilled. It felt somehow good. I was just really eager to get started. But this feeling of bliss was quickly dampened as the ghost informed me that we needed to get to safety quickly.

The serious life of a Guardian begins now! Or right away…
No way, I thought to myself, let’s take it slow with the young horses. This shouldn’t turn into a stress thing. After all, I had to try out all the buttons first. And I did this comfortably. Jump, crouch, run, check! When my Titan, whom I imagined as a brutal war machine, started to dance chillly, I couldn’t help but laugh.
Only after a few minutes did I allow myself to be led to safety by my ghost. I got to pick up the first weapon, send some bad guys to the great beyond, and familiarize myself further with the controls.
One thing that immediately caught my eye and still makes Destiny so much fun today is the weapon handling. It’s simply incredibly awesome to hold a weapon in Destiny and joyfully shoot around the area. I also found it funny that the enemies had a health bar ‒ I wasn’t used to that from the shooters I usually played. After completing the first story mission, it wasn’t long before: My personally darkest time in the last 16 months of Destiny began to roll.
