In the MMO shooter Destiny, 15 new exotic weapons and armor will be available in December. Which ones are they? What can they do?
In December, the Destiny players can expect patch 2.0. This will unlock the challenge mode for raids, it will allow guardians to exchange worm spores and etheric light, it will seriously shake up the weapon balance, and it brings 15 exotic weapons and armor into year 2.
When will the new exotics come, when will the patch arrive?
There is no official answer yet. We only know “December”. A glance at the calendar reveals: The most likely date is December 15. That’s still a week before Christmas. If you have some glimmer left to bet on it: December 15.
Are all these new weapons and armor that are coming?
No, there are indeed a few “really new” items. However, most are familiar faces from year 1 that can now be brought up to the new values.
Bungie has already indicated that they want to revise “some items.” However, we do not yet know how that will happen.
And how do you get the weapons and armor?
Bungie says: Just as you currently get the exotics. Those who already have year-1 versions can pull them from the armor or weapon collection. Others will be available via exotic engrams or as random rewards.
