Bungie takes DDoSing very seriously
In recent days, a post went around the Reddit forum, showcasing such an offer. It caused quite a stir. Nearly 4000 users upvoted the post to ensure Bungie takes notice.
A week ago, Bungie spoke out, stating that they take this matter very seriously. Recently, DDoSing during the Trials has increased. They assured that several staff members are working around the clock to ensure safety and a good, fair Destiny experience. Players are advised to report cheaters directly in-game. User reports are important, but they also have their own systems to automatically identify offenders.
The ban hammer has also been swung frequently lately. Those who carry out DDoS attacks can expect permanent bans. So do not accept such offers – and do not offer them either.
Bungie is doing something about it, but some Guardians feel that this is not enough. They demand harsher measures. After all, the cheaters not only gain unfair advantages but also spoil the experience for other Guardians.
