Since when have you been Guardians?
Alex_sany already got a taste of the Destiny universe during the Alpha. Dave has also been there since the Alpha, back then still on the PlayStation 3. It was only during the Beta that he was persuaded by his friends to switch to the next-gen console – and since the release, they still play together at least once a week.
JUGG1 x plays on the Xbox One, while the Beta was tested at his home on the 360. Khaled N. also uses the Xbox One as his gaming console, and one day, when Destiny was available cheaply in the store, he decided to try it out. He was just out with his Diablo 3 clan when he was advised to get the MMO shooter. He chose “the strong Titan with the thick armor” because he wanted to smash through enemy hordes heavily armed. He was slightly annoyed when he realized that he couldn’t give his Guardian a name. Also, the story at the beginning was a mystery to him, as it probably was for all of us.
Alex_sany also had similar internet issues as I did: when the internet was supposed to be upgraded, just in time for the release of Destiny, there were complications, leading to four weeks without internet. So we were both probably comrades in suffering.
