In this week’s Destiny, the Nightfall strike “The Wretched Eye” is available. We show you a “Safe Spot”, a “Cheese Spot”, which allows you to easily master the strike.
Currently, since November 15th, the new strike “The Wretched Eye” Nightfall is in Destiny. This three-player PvE challenge was introduced with “Rise of Iron”. The final boss is a Splicer Priest who took an Eye from an Ogre and installed it in his weapon. However, you are not only fighting this Priest with the questionable weapon, but also the blind Ogre who rampages across the battlefield, smashing everything in his path.
During this final fight, you have little time to rest and regenerate. Because either the Priest teleports across the playing field, the Ogre is behind you, or adds spawn that sneakily attack you. The motto is: Stay in motion and sprint from cover to cover.
For a Nightfall strike, this is a rather poor state of affairs. Additionally, this time Arc Burn and Exposure are active, especially since many enemies in this strike fire Arc damage at you. The Shanks, which come from above during the final fight, are particularly feared.
Many Guardians are not pleased about this. “This is not a good week, I’m skipping this Nightfall strike” and “I’m not doing this again” can be read in our comments. However, there is a way to significantly simplify the whole thing.
Safe Spot in “The Wretched Eye”
A so-called “Safe Spot” or “Cheese Spot” was discovered weeks ago, which allows even a solo player to master the final fight. Nexxoss Gaming introduces you to the location:
In the final room, there is a pipe on the right side of the destroyed wall. You can hide behind it. At first, it takes some practice to get into the Safe Spot. You can try this before scanning the Ogre. The Ogre cannot deal damage to you here, and with clever positioning, the Priest’s attacks cannot reach you either. With some time and patience, you can comfortably snipe the boss here.
Whether you want to make use of this Safe Spot or whether you want to complete the Nightfall strike by all means in the “normal way” is entirely up to you.
