In Destiny, the weekly reset takes place today, on October 11th. There are new tasks to tackle and artifacts to acquire.
Today at 11 AM, fresh challenges will come your way, but some activities will also come to an end. Firstly, the curtain falls for the weekly PvP event, the Trials of Osiris. Secondly, the October Iron Banner is also ending. This was the first monthly PvP event after the launch of “The Rise of Iron” and brought some significant innovations to the game.
The weekly reset brings a new Nightfall, new modifiers in the heroic strike playlist, new quests in the Prison of Elders, fresh “Iron Lord” artifacts, and much more that has become somewhat irrelevant since RoI, like the challenges in the Oryx Raid. In the future, we can expect new raid challenges – but then in “Wrath of the Machine”.
Nightfall on October 11th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week’s Nightfall is the Immortal Spirit. The modifiers are:
- Epic
- Specialist: Special weapon damage is favored.
- Fresh Troops: Some enemy units have received reinforcements.
- Puzzle Game: Enemy shields are resistant to unequal elemental damage.
- Airborne: Players deal more damage while airborne.
The modifiers in the heroic SIVA crisis strike playlist are Heroic, Solar Flare, Sidearms, Chaff.
The “Iron Lord” artifacts this week
If you fly into the Iron Temple, Tyra Karn has three artifacts for you. However, you must first complete Noble Deeds in the Plaguelands before she hands out the items. The following are in her inventory:
- Jolder’s Memorial
- Silimar’s Memorial
- Skorri’s Memorial
