In Destiny, a fan presents his idea of a Warlock as a Necromancer. Design-wise, it is more than impressive.
“The Rise of Iron Lords” will not have new focuses and elements. It will remain with Solar, Arc, and Void, for which the Guardian classes each have their own subclass.
What many do not know: The Stormcaller, the Arc focus of the Warlock, was initially not planned. During the design process for “King of the Taken”, new ideas for subclasses kept emerging, while old ones were discarded. There was a strong interest in the plan to make the Warlock a Necromancer, who can resurrect defeated enemies and make them fight for him. In the end, it turned out to be the lightning-throwing Stormcaller after all.
A fan has now picked up the idea of the Warlock-Necromancer again and created a fictional 4th focus for the class. Not only that – he also introduced a brand new element.
The Warlock as Necromancer
This fan idea receives great praise and recognition from the community. The fourth element is referred to as “Radiation”, the Warlock focus as “Necromancer” or “Lifereaper”. Here you can see the Grim Reaper Guardian: But that’s not all: The user named HStego has created a complete focus with all abilities and focus nodes. Some of them look really good, while others give an “overpowered” impression. This focus would likely not hold up to balancing:
Grenades
- Biohazard Grenade: A grenade that creates contaminated mist that damages enemies and weakens the foe against future damage.
- Lead Grenade: An explosive grenade that confuses enemies so that they cannot distinguish between friend and foe.
- Parasite Grenade: A grenade that splits into homing projectiles. Enemies hit by them suffer half the damage that you take.

Super
Decaybringer: You envelop yourself in a mist that harms both yourself and nearby enemies. When you eliminate someone, you heal immediately. Additionally, the stats are improved.
Sounds like high risk, but also high reward. The adjustments for this Super are:
- Reaper: You gain three additional grenade charges. All melee attacks are executed with a scythe.
- Bloodmagic: The lower your health, the more damage weapons and grenades deal.
- Undead: If you die during the Super, you return with a massive explosion.

Melee
Repulsion: When you knock back an enemy with a melee attack, they receive 10% more damage from other sources. The user and the knocked-back opponent are now immune to each other.
These are the adjustments:
- Bloodbound: Damage taken is directly transferred to the connected opponent, and vice versa.
- Lifetrade: Sacrifice a little of your health to poison the opponent. If he dies, you can be revived without a shield.
- Necroversant: Enemies damage their allies when they come too close.
