In the MMO shooter Destiny, there is an exclusive emblem for Xbox Guardians to grab – when you play with or against Bungie.
Since the reveal of “The Rise of Iron”, the upcoming autumn expansion for Destiny, Bungie’s Twitch channel has been inactive. Hardly anyone ventures there, and if they do, they leave straight away – there hasn’t been anything to see for weeks.
Bungie wants to change this now. Tomorrow, on July 13th, the channel will be dusted off, and a “Bungie Bounty” will take place, where the developers want to play live with and against the community. The game will be played on Xbox One in the “Conflict” mode, a “6 against 6” mode.
The event starts on July 13th at 10 PM our time and will last about two hours.
Those who play with and against Bungie will receive an emblem
Bungie is represented by the community manager Cozmo, who is supported by the two streamers “Lucky and BW”. If you’re wondering who will fill the remaining three spots of this fireteam: they will be random Guardians from the community.
Because the three chosen ones will regularly start matchmaking to pair any active players out there as members and as opponents. For the lucky participants, there’s a reward after each match: an exclusive emblem: Bungie also issues a “fair warning” that Cozmo and the other two are used to playing together. They have already enjoyed many long walks to the lighthouse together.
