In the MMO shooter Destiny the Red Bull quest is now active. It starts with the task “Prove yourself through energy boosts.”
Last year a big topic: Bungie made a deal with the Austrian energy drink giant Red Bull. Those who bought cans in certain stores in the USA received codes. And these then unlocked a special multi-part quest with rewards in Destiny. It was all a bit mistrusted back then, and there was mocking from fans and colleagues for Bungie: Is this not too commercial?
Anyway – many, even here in Germany, got more or less legally the codes and could start the quest as soon as “The Taken King” was released. The rest should receive the quest “after January 1, 2016” without having to buy any cans.
It was actually thought: It would start on January 1, but it then took another week longer. Since yesterday evening, it is finally the case: The quest in Destiny is now open for everyone and can be completed.

You need to be level 40 and have completed the main story of The Taken King to start the quest. Then the quest “Make the Vanguard Laugh” starts with the step Prove yourself through energy boosts. The video explains in English how to complete this quest step.
Following the quest, there are additional follow-up quests “Impress Lord Shaxx” and “A Greeting from Cayde” – there is a bit of PvP in the Rift mode and “special versions” of Strikes like Saber and Shield Brothers. However, at the gear level that most of you are at, it should not be a big deal to get through it. The quest was designed for Destiny four months ago.
