In the MMO Destiny, there has been a lot of commotion around the loot caves in recent weeks. Now, PC players can enjoy the full experience of farming loot in Destiny for hours with a simulator.
The treasure cave in Destiny was open, closed, a new one was found, and it will surely close again soon. There has been a discussion about how Bungie wants Destiny to be played and how fans want to play Destiny. The “treasure cave,” one can agree, is not exactly super fun, but effective, and players just love it when tons of green, blue, and purple stuff is lying on the ground, waiting to be picked up.
Some (including Bungie now) say that it was a design flaw in Destiny not to celebrate great loot like in other games. While the sparkle of the loot cave after extensive shooting sessions gives exactly this kick.
Anyway. A developer has taken the fun of creating a “loot cave” simulator, so to speak, Destiny in a nutshell. A video of it is available below. If you want to see how the loot cave in Destiny is or if you will miss it soon, this simulator will make you happy.
