In Destiny we maintain the “Never Say Never” information policy and exclude nothing.
It is one of the most frequently expressed wishes of the fans: Bring back the old raids, so that they are worthwhile. Now Chris Barrett, the head of Rise of Iron, resonates the same sentiment in an interview: The wish is constantly present and always in the top 10.

Unlike before, when they were mysterious, they want to be more open and clear about Destiny ahead of Rise of Iron: They have already promised a comeback of the Sparrow Racing League. And they are also considering the old raids. Although no promises are made.
If they remake the old raids, then it means: We have less time for new things, Barrett explained. And for the fall now they want to have as much new content as possible. But they are listening to the fans and absolutely considering a revival of the old raids for the future.
If something like that comes, then perhaps in 2017. They want to get through the rest of the year after Rise of Iron with the Festival of the Lost and the winter update (with Sparrow Racing).
“We are all Destiny players ourselves and want more content to play”
Barrett also promises in the interview that the long content drought after Rise of Iron should now come to an end. In year 2 they experimented a lot, tried many things – like Sparrow Racing – and played around with them. Now they know better what works and what doesn’t. And that should also result in more content for the future.
“We are all players ourselves,” says Barrett. For that reason alone, they have a vested interest in delivering as much new content as possible: Because then they also have a lot to play in Destiny. They wished last year that more content would come.
