In Destiny, a glitch is spreading: the Striker Titans can unleash one shoulder charge after another.
A new glitch has been circulating on social media for a few days now. YouTubers with hundreds of thousands of subscribers are already publishing detailed step-by-step guides. In the Crucible, this glitch is becoming more and more present. It can no longer be kept under wraps. Even in the comment sections of our Destiny articles, complaints about the glitch have already been made.
By the way, this is not a “new” glitch. It is said to have been discovered a long time ago, but it is only now rapidly spreading within the community.
“Instant Shoulder Charge Glitch” in PvP
With this glitch, known in the Guardian community as the “Instant Shoulder Charge Glitch,” the Striker Titan can instantly activate the shoulder charge.
Normally, you have to sprint for about 4 seconds before the screen edge turns color and you can ignite the “charged” shoulder charge with the melee button. With the glitch, this now works significantly faster. The attack can be activated almost from a standstill, knocking opponents out immediately. After a cooldown of about 5 seconds, the next shoulder charge can already be executed.
We are not providing a specific guide for this glitch at this point. However, with the term “Instant Shoulder Charge Glitch,” you will quickly find information on the internet.
The glitch is very easy to reproduce, as you only have to press a few buttons quickly in succession. This is currently causing some Guardians to create nasty surprises in the Crucible – and for rage quits among fair players.
We currently have no statement from Bungie, but we can probably expect a patch for it soon. Because as soon as a glitch becomes public and spreads rapidly, Bungie will have to react sooner or later.
