In Destiny , a glitch is causing a stir, as a boss can literally be skipped.
The new raid “Wrath of the Machine” has three bosses. The middle one, the Siege Engine, can be completely skipped by players. This is currently circulating on reddit and elsewhere.
It’s not a big deal. If you find the right point, you can jump through the barriers and skip the entire boss encounter. You can even get the chest this way.
Glitches have a long tradition in Destiny. Especially in “The Glassed Chamber,” Guardians were constantly looking for exploits that they affectionately called “Cheeses” to ease the more challenging parts of the raid.
But this seems a bit too far. One can probably expect that Bungie will fix the glitch soon. It’s probably better not to get used to skipping and to tackle the rather short raid in full.
