Currently, many players in Destiny 2 are raving about a special loadout that allows them to shake up PvE in the Season of Opulence. What is it all about?
This loadout is about: The streamer and Destiny expert Ehroar, a member of the well-known Redeem clan, recently presented his favorite weapon loadout for the recently launched Season 7 .
Even though it may differ from what the large majority of Guardians are currently playing, this setup has received appreciation from many fans after they saw it or tried it themselves. Maybe it will fit your playstyle as well. Give it a try.
What makes this loadout so special? In short: It is a very effective combination of some of the strongest legendary and exotic weapons that you can use for essentially all PvE activities in Destiny 2 – even endgame activities like the raid or the Menagerie.
You deal massive damage with it and easily clear out adds, pulverize enemy majors or ultras, and quickly and effectively defeat strike, gambit, or raid bosses. And all this, mind you, with a setup that doesn’t require changing weapons often.

What exactly does Ehroar’s loadout consist of? The Destiny expert uses the following weapons:
Primary Slot: In his loadout, Ehroar switches between these two primary weapons – depending on the distance to the opponent:
- the exotic Pulse Rifle Perfected Outbreak
- or the exotic Submachine Gun Huckleberry
- both preferably as masterworks – for more nanites and more damage with the Outbreak and a completely filled magazine after each kill with the Huckleberry
Because both weapons deal massive damage at their respective ranges due to their perks and are an absolute top choice for add-clearing or even for boss DPS when you can do without exotics in the power slot.
With appropriate masterwork catalysts, both weapons become even more powerful and effective. The following firearms in the two other slots are fixed and will not be changed.
Energy Slot:
- the legendary Fusion Rifle Funnelweb
This top weapon of the Vanguard is viewed by Ehroar as one of the most underestimated weapons in PvE – unjustly, especially after the buff of the Update 2.5.0.1. With it, you slice through add groups and deal strongly even against majors and ultras.
Power Slot: In the power slot, Ehroar relies on the currently best and strongest legendary power weapon:
This new top weapon of the Vanguard is currently a beast against adds and a true DPS king in boss encounters, making even many exotics look obsolete.
By picking up light spheres, the weapon deals about 70% more damage. Additionally, depending on the perks of the armor, your survivability can also be greatly increased, as you can collect spheres with the Wendigo even when your super is full.
