With the Chalice of Opulence, you can earn various cool armor pieces and weapons in Season 7 of Destiny 2 . We show you the right rune combinations for the Chalice and which gear you can farm.
What is the deal with the Chalice and farming? The Chalice of Opulence is a central feature of the new Season 7. You can upgrade this Chalice of Opulence and gradually earn specific weapons and armor pieces in the Menagerie, the new 6-player activity.
You can determine which items you receive at the end of a Menagerie match depending on your Chalice’s progress. For this, you need the corresponding Chalice upgrades as well as the required runes.

These rune combinations you should know for the Chalice of Opulence
The various rune combinations in the three slots of the Chalice determine whether and which weapons and armor pieces you receive at the end of a run in the Menagerie.
In the Menagerie, you can specifically farm 28 weapons and 4 armor sets with 5 armor pieces each. The armor sets and weapons are the same for all classes. Only the appearance of the armor sets is adapted to the respective Guardian classes.
Included are:
- the Wyrm-Web Set
- the Year 2 Version of the Exodus Crash Set
- the Dreaming City Dreamer-Morning Set
- as well as the new Opulent Set from the Menagerie

Warlock: The right runes for the Chalice – the gear is available
As a Warlock, you will receive the following items when you socket the runes as described below:
The runes in Slot 2 determine what attributes your armor pieces will have – whether it be Mobility, Recovery, or Resilience.
Hunter: The right runes for the Chalice – the gear is available
For Hunters, the same principle as for Warlocks applies. Only the appearance of the respective sets changes based on the class.
Titan: The right runes for the Chalice – the gear is available
For Titans, you won’t have to consider anything different than with the other Guardian classes. The sets remain the same. The armor is simply tailored to the Titan.
Farming weapons in the Menagerie – These are the right rune combinations
For weapons, there are already several more combinations. Place the corresponding runes as described below in the Chalice of Opulence, and you will receive the following weapons:
