As every Friday in Destiny 2, Xur returns again today. Where is the Agent of the Nine and what items does he have for sale? Here are the location and inventory on May 25.
This week was also turbulent in Destiny 2: Bungie already stirred heated discussions on Tuesday with a new exotic gesture and new troubles surrounding the in-game shop.
Just in time for the start of the first Season 3 Iron Banner, the studio included an emote of the Iron Lords in the Eververse. This character animation is, however, much to the dismay of many fans, only available for real money. It cannot be earned through the PvP event nor purchased with Silver Dust – the in-game currency of the cash shop. Since then, the emote has been controversially discussed.

Shortly thereafter, an exploit forced Bungie to disable the equip feature in apps and on third-party sites. Some players abused this feature to reach the max power level of 385 in no time. To prevent further abuse, Bungie promptly disabled this feature. When a permanent solution to the problem will be available is still unknown.
However, there were also quite pleasing developments. A fireteam managed to complete all 7 waves of the Escalation Protocol including the final boss with just three Guardians after eight hours of hard work. For this exceptional performance, the three top players received much praise and recognition within the community.
Furthermore, Bungie announced that with update 1.2.1 next Tuesday, most of the remaining bugs will be eliminated, which have been plaguing players for weeks. Then the clan XP engrams, the WarSat event on Mars, and the heroic strikes should finally function as intended.
Moreover, players can expect some new features with this update such as improved group fights, the Crucible Labs, or the first wave of revamped exotic armor pieces. Next week should also be exciting.

But already today, on May 25, the mysterious Agent of the Nine makes an appearance in the Destiny universe again. Let’s welcome Xur together. Maybe he has one or the other new exotic for you.
