Xur, the shopping master of Destiny 2 is visiting you again today. His offerings are becoming increasingly extensive and will even be expanded with Witch Queen. However, it will still take a while. Therefore, we will first reveal what the universal visitor is selling this week.
What happened this week in Destiny 2? Bungie is making some changes before Witch Queen that players have been hoping for a long time. Not only will Master Rahool soon be able to decrypt Umbral Engrams. The issue with the annoying blue engravings will also be different soon.
In addition, the reputation system of Banshee-44 will be adjusted. Weapon master materials and the annoying mod components will be removed. So make sure to get rid of them before Witch Queen.
This week, Bungie also announced the new power level for Witch Queen. There is again much to level up as the Guardians move towards new strength. The level caps are substantial and, by the way, popular exotics with catalysts will also make their way back into the game.
Many changes are ultimately intended to ensure that players have more space in their vault without Bungie having to increase the number of 500 slots in the vault.

Trials of Osiris from January 21 to January 25 – Map, weapons, and info
Bungie has changed the rotation of the PvP modes a while ago so that when an Iron Banner is active, no Trials will be held. After last week’s Iron Banner event, the Trials return to Destiny 2 this evening.
Which map is on this week? The map this week is on Earth and is called “Twilight Gap”.
How to get your loot: Previously, you could earn your loot in the Trials through three, five, and seven wins. However, that has changed. Now, there are rewards for:
- Seven wins
- 50 rounds
- and the infamous flawless run that leads you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Each week, a special weapon is available as a master version. This time you can earn the Trials sword “Solace Scar”.
Once you have received your desired weapon, you can focus your Trials engrams specifically on that. Additionally, there are enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Keep in mind that your reward increases even further once you have a complete pass—even if you lost one or two games.
When do the Trials start? The Trials start as usual at the daily reset at 6:00 PM.
