As every Friday in Destiny 2, Xur is back today. Where is the Agent of the Nine, and what items does he have for sale? Here are the location and inventory for June 8th.
This week has been all about the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2. On Tuesday, June 5th, Bungie revealed the upcoming fall expansion in a Twitch stream, providing a lot of information about it. In addition, the first faction rally of Season 3 is currently in full swing. The return of the group fights brought numerous changes – including new loot, a new rank system, and a new mechanic that you should consider if you want to efficiently collect tokens for your rank-ups. And today, June 8th, the mysterious Agent of the Nine returns to the Destiny universe. Let’s welcome Xur together. What does that noodle face have for us this time?

When does Xur appear?
Xur visits us every Friday at 7 PM. He then chooses a quiet place on a planet or moon of his choice from where he can discreetly bring his wares to the Guardians. You have until the next weekly reset on Tuesday to browse his inventory – then he disappears without a trace.

Xur has certain positions where he likes to settle down over the weekend. This time he is setting up shop in the Tower hangar on Earth.
Offer and inventory of Xur
- Weapon: The Huckleberry – submachine gun for 29 legendary shards
- Hunter: The Dragon’s Shadow – chest armor for 23 legendary shards
- Titan: Peacekeepers – leg armor for 23 legendary shards
- Warlock: Transversive Steps – leg armor for 23 legendary shards
- Fate’s Engram: 97 legendary shards
- Three of Coins: 31 legendary shards
Xur also has the challenge card “Five of Swords”. This card is free. With it, your rare Nightfall challenge card will be upgraded to a legendary challenge card. This allows you to activate one burn modifier, one advantage/disadvantage, and two additional disadvantages.

Trials of the Nine on June 8th
The weekly PvP event Trials of the Nine starts on Friday evening at 7 PM. The Trials end with the weekly reset on the following Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
- Map: Javelin-4
- Mode: Survival
After the release of the Warmind expansion, new rewards can be earned in the Trials of the Nine.
There are three new weapons:
- The kinetic submachine gun “Cease and Desist”
- The energy scout rifle “Cease and Desist”
- The shotgun “Cease and Desist”
There is also a new Ghost shell, a new Sparrow, a new ship, and a new shader. However, there are no new armor ornaments for the Trials sets in Season 3.
