For Destiny 2, the upcoming weeks are decisive:
- Fans are already keeping a close eye on March 27. Then comes the next major milestone for Destiny 2 with update 1.1.4. The update brings extensive sandbox adjustments and many other changes – including for the Crucible and Strikes.
- After the update, Bungie will likely fully focus on promoting the second expansion. According to the latest leaks, official information about the second DLC might be expected as early as the end of March. Because there are increasing hints that DLC II could be released on May 8, 2018.
- The last update milestone 1.2.0 is expected to be released alongside the second expansion.
The list of upcoming changes is getting shorter. However, a proper overhaul has not occurred yet. Some of the most important adjustments still need time to be implemented.
For many fans, the two remaining update milestones represent Bungie’s last chance to save the game. Although a large expansion like The Taken King is expected at the end of the year, which could bring profound changes – it might be too late for many Guardians if the two upcoming updates fail.
Bungie must therefore pave the way for the next major expansion in a decisive manner in the coming weeks.

Xur appears every Friday at 6 PM. He chooses a quiet spot on a planet or moon of his choice, from where he can unobtrusively bring his goods to the Guardians. You have until the next weekly reset on Tuesday to browse his inventory – then he vanishes without a trace.
